Miracle Steel is a leading manufacturer of pre-engineered and pre-fabricated steel buildings with a unique open web steel truss design. For more than 35 years, MiracleTruss® buildings have survived blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons and earthquakes without a single report of structural damage.
MiracleTruss® buildings feature a unique hybrid of edge-mounted wood girts and purlins combined with open web steel trusses to
construction.
Miracle Steel is backed by over three decades of building experience and certified by International Accreditation Services, Inc (Fabricator Inspection program FA-359), International Code Council and the American Welding Society.
Miracle Steel is an approved fabricator in the cities of Los Angeles, CA, Houston, TX and Clark County, NV. Miracle Steel has also been a valued Member of the Better Business Bureau since 1987.
The following reasons illustrate why a MiracleTruss® building system with a unique open web steel truss design is a thoroughly integrated, comprehensive package that delivers a more durable building with a higher value than a typical steel building.
Lighten Your Steel Building Load
Our web truss design uses steel components to create a building of superior strength with significantly less weight. This makes it easier for you to assemble a structure that provides extended durability.

MiracleTruss® Building
Our unique open web steel truss design makes optimal use of steel components. It creates superior strength with significantly less weight, to make it easier for you to assemble a structure that provides extended durability. Only welders certified by the American Welding Society construct our unique open web steel trusses to ensure structural integrity. Our unique open web steel trusses are inspected a second time by an independent inspector prior to leaving the factory.
Regardless of wind or snow load requirements, we can produce buildings with roof slope from 1:12 to 10:12. In fact our 80' wide building with a 1:12 roof slope open web steel truss has a smaller frame than an all steel frame building giving you more interior space at the same peak height as an all steel frame building without any of the obstructions that you have with an all steel frame building.
Our unique open web steel truss frame does not create any additional bird perches than any other steel frame building; in fact, the red oxide paint discourages birds from perching.

Steel Buildings
All-steel building manufacturers use a design requiring heavier steel, which increases the dead load, particularly in the ceiling area. Due to the additional steel weight, the roof structure weighs more requiring other parts of the building to be made from heavier materials to compensate.
This results in unparallel beams and creates large obstructions particularly at the eave height. This increases the overall weight, makes the building substantially more difficult to construct because of the awkward size pieces, and generally requires the use of heavy equipment and hiring of a professional (and sometimes union) steel erector who is familiar with complex steel designs.
The extra weight also makes all-steel structures more susceptible to the downward pressures of the extra weight, potentially causing the outside walls to flex and loose their plum. To compensate for this, the all-steel building and must have expensive foundations, adding additional costs.
These buildings are welded with automatic welders that make it difficult to maintain quality due to the light gauge and lower tensile strength steel. The attached joints and plates are often attached by uncertified welders further compromising the integrity of the building. All-steel buildings do not allow for varying roof pitches and have questionable live load capability. |

Supportive Sheeting
MiracleTruss® Building
MiracleTruss® buildings have edge-mounted wood girts and purlins placed every 2 feet and trusses every 12 feet or can be modified to accommodate a 23' door to give you the flexibility to add doors and windows during or after construction.
It also allows you to easily renovate or modify your MiracleTruss® building by adding doors or windows anywhere on the structure.
If termites are a problem, our system uses treated lumber to eliminate any concerns.
The open web steel truss design enables you to install standard batt insulation anytime during or after construction. Our unique hybrid open web steel truss and wood design works together with standard batt insulation to eliminate potentially costly thermal bridge problems. Standard batt insulation also helps lower costs by providing increased heating and cooling efficiency since the insulation is not compressed
Our innovative design allows you to finish your exterior with materials such as stucco, stone, brick and wood. In addition, our manufacturing techniques make it easier to finish both the exterior and interior of a MiracleTruss® building.
Steel Buildings
Most all-steel buildings have girts and purlins placed every 6 – 7 feet. Frames are generally spaced 20' – 25' apart, which creates substantial areas of unsupported sheeting. Excessive unsupported sheeting will eventually flex and deform, creating gaps that let in water, debris, insects and rodents.
Only expensive blanket insulation can be used and it must be installed during construction. The insulation is compressed and punctured during installation, creating thermal bridges that allow heated and cooled air to escape and promotes damaging condensation which encourages mold growth and/or corrosion.
Finishing off the inside of an all-steel building requires the creation of an interior framing system, which takes more time and costs more money. |
Prevent Damaging Condensation
MiracleTruss® Building
The girts and purlins in a MiracleTruss® building kit are solidly fastened with eight 1 1/2” #10 screws inserted through heavy-duty steel brackets. These brackets are continuously welded, not simply tack welded, for a tighter, more secure connection. The wood girts and purlins provide a thermal break to help your MiracleTruss® building avoid destructive condensation.
Steel Buildings
All-steel building manufacturers simply attach the girts and purlins directly to the frame with one or two bolts. This technique actually creates thermal bridges, causing condensation and leaking onto your valuable contents, possibly causing rust and harmful mold to develop. |
Prefabricated Steel Buildings Stand the Test of Time
MiracleTruss® Building
MiracleTruss® buildings are braced with 3/4” steel rods to keep them plum and square for years to come. Our unique open web steel truss buildings are designed to withstand hurricane force winds and our bracing system provides additional structural integrity and durability, to produce a building that requires less maintenance and is not prone to leaks.
Steel Buildings
All-steel buildings rely on cables that stretch and flex. This often causes undue stress on the building creating leaks, noise, and could cause structural failure. And cables require major adjustment every year to keep the structure aligned, making all-steel buildings a high-maintenance option. |
Install Sheeting Easily for a Sturdier Building
MiracleTruss® Building
Our unique hybrid design allows the sheeting to be attached securely every 9 inches with heavy-duty, self-drilling and tapping carbon tipped wood grips. This produces strong, rigid siding for your pre-engineered MiracleTruss® building and keeps the wood girts and purlins solid, so they never warp or twist.
Steel Buildings
All-steel buildings typically use screws that may be coated by inferior stainless steel, which make the screws too soft to drill and tap. This means installing the sheeting will require you to drill thousands of accurately placed holes that must match up exactly with the purlins and girts, wasting your time and money.
And because all-steel buildings typically place girts and purlins every 6' – 7', they must provide blocking to keep the girt from sagging while trying to fasten the sheeting. |
Create A Sturdy Structure
MiracleTruss® Building
Our carbon-tipped screws easily go through steel sheeting and combined with large, high-quality neoprene washers, make for an impenetrable fit. These screws go directly into the edge mounted purlin and girt to give your MiracleTruss® building maximum strength. The solid connection repels water and wind, and won't loosen over time. Our screws will not rust, tarnish or turn a dark color.
Steel Buildings
All-steel buildings use a lighter finish fastener that can easily rust and a smaller, inferior quality neoprene washer, which will eventually cause structural problems and water damage. Once corrosion occurs in the fastener, it ultimately leads to corrosion in the steel structure itself. These stitch screws attach sheeting to more sheeting with nothing solid behind it because there are no structural members behind them. |
Protect Your Metal Building from Rain Water
MiracleTruss® Building
The MiracleTruss® building uses anti-siphon grooved sheeting that forces rainwater to run off and away from the building, keeping your belongings safe and dry. The sheeting is also rated at 100,000 PSI which is stronger than thicker gauge sheeting. This means low maintenance, no fastener wear and tear and excellent protection against snow and wind.
The panels are also wind rated to Florida Building codes and have the following approval numbers, FL-8667.1 and FL-7490.2 to help your MiracleTruss® building brace itself against severe weather in Florida.
Steel Buildings
All-steel building manufacturers use a sheeting design that is cut shorter to save money but it creates an uneven, overlapping fit. The sheeting can easily flex and cause openings that invite damaging water insects and rodents inside. The flexing can also cause fastener wear and failure over time. |
Get Protection from the Elements, Insects and Rodents
MiracleTruss® Building
MiracleTruss® building kits use a treated 2 x 6 bottom girt attached to the open web steel truss by a heavy duty clip and connects to the base of the MiracleTruss® building producing a connection point for the base molding. The base molding along with closure strips essentially lock out rodents, insects, debris and moisture to keep your valuables clean and secure.
Steel Buildings
Most all-steel building manufacturers only bring the sheeting to ground level and attach to a light gauge angle that offers limited or no resistance to wind, snow, debris or rodents. |
Keep Your Steel Building Moisture-Free and Low Maintenance
MiracleTruss® Building
MiracleTruss® buildings feature closure strips and eave molding for extra security, to safeguard against rain, dirt, debris insects and rodents. Our closure strips are made from heavy-duty nylon and are matched to the contour of the sheeting to ensure a weather-tight fit.
Steel Buildings
Most all-steel buildings use closure strips only where the roof meets the siding. That lack of extra protection could eventually result in expensive moisture and maintenance problems. |
Sealed Window Protection Prevents Corrosion
MiracleTruss® Building
All doors and windows in a MiracleTruss® building are equipped with a bottom and top sill for additional protection to prevent debris and water buildup in your MiracleTruss® building.
Steel Buildings
The bottom of the windows and doors on most all-steel buildings use channel framing creating a trough on the top and bottom of all openings which traps water and debris, promoting leaking and eventual corrosion. |
